The KCET 2024 will be held for four subjects – physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics.
Each paper will be of 60 marks. The KEA will hold the KCET 2024 on April 18 and 19. Earlier, it was scheduled to be held on April 20 and 21. Since it was clashing with the National Defence Academy (NDA 1) exam, the KCET 2024 was moved ahead.

The exam is being held for admission into 198 colleges of the state. Candidates will have 1 hour 12 minutes to attempt the questions paper. While registering for the KCET 2024, candidates will have to upload scanned documents such as Class 10, 12 mark sheets, coloured photographs, image of signature and category certificate, if applicable.

KCET 2024 application fee category wise

Candidates applying for the KCET 2024 will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500.
GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates of Karnataka : Rs 500
CAT- 1 / SC / ST candidates of Karnataka:Rs 200
Candidates studied outside Karnataka:Rs 750
Foreign Candidates:Rs 5,000

KCET 2024: How to fill application form

Candidates can follow these steps to fill the KCET 2024 application:
Go to the official website of the KEA.
Click on the application form link and fill the registration form by entering the Candidate’s name, date of birth, Email address and mobile number
Submit the application fee through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI
Fill the application form of KCET 2024.
Submit educational qualifications and other relevant information.
Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other documents.
Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

ELIGIBILITY

General Scholarship

Golden Jubilee Foundation

a) All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent – Regular/Vocational) / Diploma with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2022-23 and whose parents/guardian have an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum* (please refer clause 6 (i) – for relaxation) are eligible to apply for scholarship. The scholarship is provided to students who are interested (and willing) to pursue higher education in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
b) All candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2022-23 and whose parents/guardian have an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.2,50,000 per annum. (Please refer clause 6 (i) – for relaxation) are eligible to apply for scholarship The scholarship is provided to students who are pursuing higher education in the field of Vocational / Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).

Special Scholarship for Girl Child

c) To encourage education to girl child, Special scholarship for Girl Child after class 10 for pursuing higher studies in Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/ Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) for two years.

Candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the Academic Year 2022-23 and whose parents/guardian have an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 2,50,000 per annum. (please refer clause 6 (i) – for relaxation) are eligible to apply for scholarship.

The Scholarships shall be provided only to students who are going for under- graduation or its equivalent including Integrated Courses only. This scholarship is not meant for post-graduation studies.
